My professional background

I would like to work in an international organization to have a global impact on adapting our society to the climate crisis by implementing a more environmentally and socially sustainable economy.

GERMANY – BERLIN | SEPT 2024 – NOW

Sustainability Officer

While studying, I am also working with the Green Office, the sustainability department at ESCP’s Berlin campus. My role is to support office’s missions by organizing events and ensuring they run smoothly, as well as contributing to the sustainability report by conducting a carbon footprint assessment through data collection and analysis.

At the end of September, beginning of October we organize the « Sustainability Actions Days ». This event, open to all students through voluntary registration, offered diverse workshops such as biodiversity, the Climate Fresk, facilitator training to this Fresk, perma-management, and discussion on gender equality and female leadership. I managed the technical logistics, monitored registrations, communicated with participants, set up rooms before each session, and coordinated with facilitators.

My position as a board member at oikos society (student society) was complementary with my work, as some event were held by the oikos, and allow me to have a complete oversight of the entire event.

I am also responsible for collecting and analyzing data to conduct a carbon footprint assessment, which is then reported to the headquarters in Paris. This work involves close collaboration with the accounting and HR departments for data collection. I use the Plan A carbon management platform to simplify data collection and analysis, as well as to securely store the analyzed data.

FRANCE – VOUNEUIL SUR VIENNE | JUNE 2024 – NOW

Web and Communication Manager

Watturel is a French local startup that offers affordable solar panel installations on private roofs, making clean energy accessible to all.

I joined this startup at its creation and was responsible for building its identity from the ground up. This included selecting the name ‘Watt [nat]urel’ (a play on ‘natural’ in French), developing the website, and creating and implementing a communication plan.

I currently create content for their Facebook page to raise awareness about solar panels and how they work, share national and international energy-related news, explain Watturel’s processes, and update followers on the progress of construction sites.

FRANCE – PARIS and GERMANY – BERLIN | JAN 2024 – NOW

President of partnerships

Oikos is a student society focused on raising awareness about sustainability among business students. I collaborate with nine team members, managing two of them, on four key projects throughout the year. I have further developed this experience under my academic section.

FRANCE – REMOTE | SEPT 2022 – JAN 2023

CSR & Communication Project Leader

For three months in 2022, I worked remotely for Blow You Up, a start-up CSR consulting company based in Bordeaux. I worked part-time for the company on missions in CSR such as :

  • Accompanying the company on CSR missions for clients: documentary analysis, benchmarking to advice correctly the customer, synthesis, production of deliverables.
  • BYU’s Corporate Social Responsibility: definition of the CSR approach, formalization of evidences, communication, website optimisation.

At the start of my role, I conducted an assessment of Blow You Up’s current situation and developed a strategic proposal to enhance the company’s communication strategy and brand image, which I presented to the founder.

As part of my communication mission, I defined an editorial line and planning, I wrote content for social networks, as well as I improve the design of the website to make it more professional and visually appealing.

Above is an example of a typical post I created for BYU’s LinkedIn page. My goal was to produce engaging content on sustainability by making complex concepts accessible, covering topics like new investment plans, certifications, and the growing importance of CSR today.

To support companies as effectively as possible, I developed a range of resources to simplify the process. This included roadmaps and templates to assist companies in creating their code of ethics and responsible purchasing guidelines. Additionally, I prepared summary presentations on essential topics such as certifications and labels. For example, I developed a presentation on B Corp certification, highlighting its key focus areas to help companies better understand and navigate the application process.

Below is the agenda from a presentation I developed focused on standards, certifications, and labels, providing an overview to help companies determine which certifications align best with their goals. This insight enabled Blow You Up to assist their clients more effectively.

To support BYU in its positioning, I conducted a benchmarking analysis of consulting firms within the same sector, comparing their engagement strategies, service offerings, websites, and communication approaches. I presented my findings to the founder in a detailed presentation, concluding with strategic recommendations for BYU. (See above a page of this presentation)

I then assisted BYU in defining its service offerings to present a clearer and more simplified value proposition to customers and prospects.

I also worked with BYU to support its clients by conducting benchmarking analyses of companies BYU was advising, helping to propose the most effective strategies for their CSR improvements.

CANADA – MONTREAL | OCT 2022 – JAN 2023

Transactional Banking Advisor

During four months I worked as transaction banking advisor in Montreal. I was hired as a « flying staff » which means I was assigned to various bank branches in Montreal that required additional support. My role involved assisting customers with monetary transactions, resolving account-related issues, and answering any questions about their accounts and service updates.

This dynamic environment significantly enhanced my adaptability, as I collaborated with different teams each day. I worked with clients from diverse nationalities and social backgrounds, requiring me to adapt my language (French, English, and Spanish) and communication style to meet each customer’s expectations effectively.

FRANCE – LE HAILLAN | JUNE – AUG 2022

Deployment of CSR activities

Logo-CGI-professional-background

For three months in 2022, I did an internship at CGI during which I worked on the capitalisation of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy within a company unit under three main pillars: Climate, Talent and Community. I was in charge of :

  • Creating deliverables to respond to calls for tender, to inform and raise awareness of CSR issues among employees.
  • Formalise the company’s issues and actions
  • Speaking at a quarterly meeting in front of more than 120 people to acculturate employees to CSR

I had the opportunity to work with different entities within the company, which allowed me to understand the different issues that a multinational company must take into consideration. It also allowed me to have a first experience in a sector that aims to make entities more sustainable with regard to current social and environmental needs.

FRANCE – BORDEAUX | JULY – AUG 2021

  • Conduct an internal and external brand analysis
  • Redesigning the website with WordPress to improve the user experience
  • Communicate through social networks Instagram and Facebook through natural referencing and advertising
  • Setting consistent prices

These varied actions have given me many responsibilities and a global vision of the actions that have to be undertaken when a project is launched. This allowed me to acquire many technical skills: the use of WordPress, making Facebook ads, setting prices correctly, … I also developed soft skills such as initiative, critical thinking and analytical abilities.

FRANCE – BORDEAUX | JULY 2020 – JUNE 2021

Community manager

During the summer and the academic year 2020-2021 I did a part-time job at my school. This internship consisted in taking care of the external communication of the school with the aim of attracting new students and keeping those already present informed. I was in charge of :

  • Redesigning social networks and bringing in new content
  • Create the editorial planning
  • Work on communication at trade fairs, open days, …
  • Integrate the school mascot more strongly

This internship allowed me to learn how to go from a simple business idea to something concrete by going through different key stages. It also helped me to develop my teamwork skills as I worked in trios with two other interns and my internship supervisor. My creativity and autonomy are also two soft skills that I was able to develop by thinking up new content and implementing it. In terms of hard skills, I improved my Photoshop skills and completely mastered Canva.

FRANCE – CHATELLERAULT | DEC 2019

Receptionist

For a period of two weeks I worked at the BNP Paribas reception to welcome customers and answer their needs. This gave me a first experience in a company as a full-time employee who has missions.

This experience made me more independent in stressful situations because clients are looking for an immediate answer and I didn’t immediately know how to provide it. Furthermore, I developed my capacity to adapt by using the company’s platform to organise myself and work.
